Auckland Art Gallery Toi o T?maki is a cultural leader in Aotearoa New Zealand. Our purpose is to be a creative catalyst for art and ideas, offering transformational practices that strengthen and enrich our communities. The Gallery's vision is to be the home of art for Auckland, its people and visitors to its internationally recognised, award-winning building. Established in 1888, the Gallery holds a preeminent collection of New Zealand art and a significant collection of international art, and presents a dynamic programme of temporary exhibitions, public engagement and outreach activities.
To help us engage, inspire and inform our audiences, we're looking for a talented digital marketer to shape and grow the content and function our digital channels, including our website, EDMs and social media. Through organic reach and paid activity, through content marketing and the delivery of user-focused digital messages, our Digital Marketing agent will help us take the Gallery to the world.
He angit?tanga: The opportunity
You will be responsible for developing unique and engaging content for the Gallery's website, and for analysing and reporting on user behaviour to deliver insights and improvements.
The strategic development of our social media presence will form a vital part of your function, as you'll grow an engaged audience across multiple channels, creating enticing content and leading the implementation of new initiatives.
You'll also get the chance to stretch your muscles by leading paid SEM and digital display advertising campaigns, as well as managing the content and distribution of the Gallery's suite of regular EDMs.
He k?rero m?u: About you
Our ideal candidate will have digital marketing practice, accompanied by higher education/study. You will have practice in using web CMS, in employing scheduling and analytics tools for social media, in building and distributing EDMs via platforms such as ActiveCampaign, and in managing paid digital marketing activities. You'll also have the desire to continuously improve the Gallery's online footprint, using new techniques and ideas.

This is a diverse position where you get to lead the Gallery's digital marketing initiatives and leave your mark on our online presence. You will work across all aspects of Gallery life and gain a unique insighttothe world of art, artists, culture and creativity.
This position is permanent, full-time, working 40 hours a week, Monday to Friday. On occasion, there may be the need to work outside of standard hours
