Do you believe in the power of arts and creativity to change lives?
Are you at your best when you're enabling others and leading the transformation of data into usable and impactful knowledge?
At the Arts Council of New Zealand Toi Aotearoa (Creative New Zealand), we believe that having access to great arts practices is essential to New Zealanders' well-being and our country's unique identity. As the national arts development agency of Aotearoa, we encourage, promote and support the arts, for the benefit of all New Zealanders.
We've established a new function, Senior Data Analytics and Insights Adviser, to join our Creative New Zealand wh?nau. this function sits within the Business Systems Team where we take a holistic view of the components that make up our systems - technology, people, processes and information - and the inter-relationships between them.
As the Senior Data Analytics and Insights Adviser you'll develop a deep knowledge of Creative New Zealand, our customers, the sector we support, and what Information technology means to be a government entity. You'll use this to form and embed our data strategy across the organisation. Our data and information tools are already good, so this is an exciting opportunity to build on this solid platform to lead the transition from capturing data to developing usable knowledge for ourselves, the sector, and our stakeholders.
Working with Creative New Zealand's providers, internal teams, customers and stakeholders, you will be responsible for developing our data and analytics capcapability. By creating engaging visualisations and stories, you will help us to develop insights that enable better decision-making and business results.

We're looking for someone who:
» can build positive relationships across teams and deliver results through a highly collaborative and consultative approach
» is a systems thinker who takes a holistic approach to problem solving
» has strengths in facilitation, stakeholder engagement and translating technical questions and results into accessible language for specific audiences.

In return we offer a positive, collaborative and flexible environment, working with diverse, passionate and caring people. This is also an enviable opportunity to work with and for New Zealand's unique arts sector every day.
Creative New Zealand is the national arts development agency. We encourage, promote and support the arts in New Zealand for the benefit of all New Zealanders. We do this by investing in, developing, advocating for and providing leadership abilities in the arts for the benefit of all New Zealanders. We're funded by the New Zealand Lottery Grants Board and directly from the Government through Vote: Arts, Culture and Heritage.
