Job Opportunity: Senior Research Investment Manager:RGF StaffingJob description:Job DescriptionHealth Research Council of New Zealand - Senior Research Investment ManagerTe Kaunihera Rangahau Hauora o Aotearoa, the Health Research Council of New Zealand (HRC), is seeking a Senior Research Investment Manager to contribute to the haut?tanga (leadership abilities) of health research. The prosperous candidate will be committed to equity in the context of Aotearoa New Zealand, particularly regarding our obligation under Te Tiriti o Waitangi to eliminate health inequity for M?ori. This is a Fixed-Term opportunity (12 months) and we would consider part-time at 0.8 or 0.9FTE for the right candidate. HRC is the main agency responsible for the management of the Government's whakangao (investment) in health research. Information technology provides strategic leadership abilities to the health research hapori (community) to ensure research excellence is achieved through a ng?kaupai, positive, collaborative and efficient network. The aspiration of the HRC is for Aotearoa New Zealand to be a leader in high impact, high value health research. Its contribution to this aspiration is through ensuring that Aotearoa New Zealand's health research system tangibly improves the opportunities for health and wellbeing for the people who need Information technology most, now and in the w?heke (future).
