(Nelson) located M?ori organisation Whakat? (Nelson) located Wakat? Group is seeking a communications advisor with a ?can do' attitude to lead delivery of its new internal communications strategy. Working collaboratively across the group, the function holder will deliver high-quality internal communications and engagement initiatives to ensure that the 550-plus Wakat? kaimahi feel a sense of community, connection and belonging. For the right candidate this function can be located anywhere in Aotearoa. What you will bring To be prosperous in this function you will: » Have at least 2-3 years' practice prosperously driving internal communications, engagement and change initiatives » Ideally, be proficient (at level 5 or above) in te reo M?ori me ?na tikanga, and be able to put te ao M?ori at the heart of story telling » Have managed a range of internal communications channels » Be able to build sustainable, effective relationships with stakeholders, particularly wh?nau and M?ori stakeholders » Be able to communicate in an engaging and authentic way that resonates with kaimahi, wh?nau and key audiences » Have excellent project management expertise » Be digitally savvy, with strong social media expertise » Have sound practical practice with crisis communication management, and best practice crisis communication expertise.
