Manager FleetJob location:Wellington Wellington Central Work Type: Permanent » » » »CBD »Permanent »$99K The function • Responsible for all staff internal transport strategy • Ensure focus on best practice, sustainable financial approaches and safety leadership abilities • Responsible for the operational management of the vehicle fleet • Accountable for all employee’s transportation requirements to ensure operational effectiveness and efficiency. • Working closely with a range of stakeholders and teams. tasks • Oversight and monitoring of transport and fleet operations. • Management of looking to reduce carbon footprint in line with organisations required targets. • Accountable for procurement of a fit for purpose, cost effective, and safe transport. • Develop, implement, and manage a fleet transport strategy and fleet and transport policies, processes and plans. • Manage and maintain up to date vehicle fleet asset management database. • knowledge of vehicle supplier markets and managing of operating an Electric Vehicle fleet and its infrastructure. • Manage fleet related vendor contracts and monitor vendor service performance. expertise & practice • practice in a similar fleet management function and of a large and diverse fleet portfolio. • Knowledge of New Zealand law, regulations and standards. • knowledge of the fleet industry and strategies for business success. • A full drivers licence. • Strong relationship management expertise. • Well organised, pragmatic and capability to manage a diverse workload and stakeholder portfolio • Superb verbal, written and interpersonal communication expertise.
