Days shifts only - falling between 7am and 3.30pm, you have every evening to yourself! Our Cafe is located on the main intersection in Murchison, within the historic Commercial Hotel Building. We offer a great menu in an eclectic setting within this historic building. Our team is small, fun and super busy, especially during the summer months. We are seeking to fill two front of house positions starting in October (we could also look at a November start date for the right applicant) Barista practice is ideal but not essential. Previous Hospitality practice IS essential, as is a great friendly and welcoming personality. We are seeking for a commitement until the end of April 2022, potentially moving into full time at the end of this period if you decide to stay on. Murchison offers great, hiking, fishing, kayaking and rafting. Located on the edge of Kahurangi national park and at the gate to the 'Old Ghost Road', we are also only 1hour and 20mins south of Nelson and the Abel tasman national park. Leave the big cities and come and practice stunning rural NZ. Accommodation available on site with a 2 bedroom employee 'flat' with Kitchen and Lounge. Includes endlessWIFI, electricity and water - you only need to buy your groceries!
