An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Department Manager - Produce to join the business leadership group of this highly successful market leader. The key responsibilities of the role include: » Maximise the growth and profitability of the produce department » Working with sales to maximise produce sales to customers » Staff management and maintaining strong culture » Supplier management including negotiating best deals » Stock management » Financial management and budget control » Asset management To be successful you will ideally have: » Proven experience in developing a high achieving team » Proven sales and procurement results » Strong negotiating skills » High level of written and verbal communication skills » Strong relationship building skills » Flexibility and change management skills » Ability to work under pressure and meet demands » Competent in MS Suite and computer savvy This is a role you can really make your own with full autonomy. This may suit someone wanting a change from the hospitality or supermarket industry. Hours are 45 hours per week; Monday to Friday with rostered Saturdays.
