Specialist OperatorLocation All WaikatoWaikato Job type Full Time Salary to Category Construction & Architecture > Other » » » <span id="mce_marker" data-mce-type="bookmark">?</span><span id="__caret">_</span> POST LOCKDOWN things are going to get BUSY - We are currently seeking a experienced "Telehandler" to assist with operations on major construction build and infrastructure project, the project will be a minimum of 6-12 months starting ASAP in South Waikato Candidate should have a sound knowledge of: » Forklift license F & OSH with WTR » Excellent communication skills » Great time management skills » Strong health and safety focus. » Valid and Current Site Safe Card » F & W Endorsement on NZ Drivers License » Have experience in slinging loads correctly » Hazards and controls related to lifts and lift planning » Understanding of slinging loads and working load limit tables » Safely communicating lift operations » Panel Installer with pre-casting experience The successful candidates should have: » Appropriate certification with a minimum of Unit standard 3789 » Telehandler, EWP & Site Safe ticket's required » Heights and Harness » Fluent and audible communication skills » Sound understanding of health and safety » Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen » Zero tolerance to drugs and alcohol (daily breath testing) About the job: » Minimum of 50 hours per week (5 ½ day weeks) » Subsidized Canteen » PPE provided » Weekly payroll MUST BE PREPARED TO WORK IN TEAM AND HELP WITH LABOURING at times.
