Job Opportunity: Security Advisor – Health, Safety & Wellbeing:ACC_hainesJob description:Job Description» Ideal location is Hamilton, but we are open to Auckland, Christchurch or Dunedin Location» Operational security function » Health safety and wellbeing team environment ACC’s vision is to create a unique partnership with every New Zealander, improving their quality of life by minimising the incidence and impact of injury. In this function you’ll lead the day to day response to operational security issues across ACC and for continuously improving our processes in relation to this risk. In doing so, you will develop good working relationships within the business and with our external security providers. this function sits within the Health, Safety and Wellbeing (HS&W) team, and you will work with the team to manage the full range of HS&W incidents and to assist with the delivery their overall programme of work. What We are seeking for from you to be prosperous in this function: » practiced health, safety and/or security advisor within in a customer service or security sensitive environment, with particular knowledge of response to rapidly emerging threat events, and continuing management of business continuity incidents » Demonstrated sound judgement and decision making, considering all significant information and alternatives » Knowledge of significant legislative and other requirements, and operational security management practice » Confident presenter of in person or remotely delivered training sessions and workshops to develop the business capcapability in relation to security risk » practice in auditing or other delivery of onsite assurance activities » The capability to travel, including overnight trips.
