What Ever Information technology Takes HBR Limited provides home located rehabilitation, and support services, designed to work in partnership with out clients, their family and support networks, to achieve quality support in the community.
Our programmes offer a combination of services such as attendant care, home help, childcare, social and recreational support, rehabilitation support (occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech language therapy, acupuncture, rehab coaching). We are client focused with an emphasis on rehabilitation and family goals to support a holistic and integrated approach to overall wellness.
We specialize in supporting individuals that have high needs, and more complex injuries and disabilities, who want to integrate back into the community. Our function is to implement a high standard of care and rehabilitation. Exceptional quality and commitment are the underlying values we aim to deliver.
Position - Training and Development function:
We are seeking for a National Training and Development Manager to support our National Operations Team to implement our unique and internationally recognised Training and Mentoring programmes across the organisation. The function is varied but places a strong emphasis on our M?ori Model of Clinical Practise, our unique approach to Wh?nau Ora Plans, as well as our specialised Clinical and Service Delivery programs. We also have a number of innovative programs implemented through our Tech Team iAwhi and our Charitable Trust that will require an exciting approach to upskilling our internal teams and the wider health sector.
As the leader of Training and Development across the What Ever Information technology Takes Group you will work alongside our wider leadership abilities Team and in particular the National Operations Team. Similarly you will be supported by our Kaitaki M?ori and wider Clinical Team through Indigenous Rehabilitation.
You will work in collaboration with the National Operations Manager, our Quality Manager and Clinical Manager to deliver training both existing and in development that will incoporate our holistic and integrated approach. The function is a combination of developing, scheduling and monitoring training whilst superviseing the mentoring program.
You will be provided with a high level of support, as well as continuing development opportunities and upskilling. You will also be put through our very own Ng?kau Purotu program, teaching you about our applied M?ori model of clinical practice.
Tasks Include:
   » Directing and managing training from beginning to end
   » Identifying service delivery gaps with the Operations Team and developing training solutions to support any expertise building that may be required
   » Develop calendars and scheduling connected with the function
   » Effectively communicate training expectations to other team members and support them to implement the training pathways
   » contact with stakeholders, management on an on-going basis, developing professional, cordial and collaborative relationships
   » Draft and submit budget proposals and recommend subsequent budget changes where necessary
   » Develop and deliver progress reports, proposals, requirements and presentations
   » Proactively manage changes in training, identify potential crises and devise if appropriate contingency plans
   » Develop training success criteria
practice, skills & Competence:
   » Be ableto support the What Ever Information technology Takes Group to maintain and exceed our exceptional Training results
   » Have excellent communication skills
   » Have a minimum NZQA Level 4 qualification or international equivalent
   » Be able to work independently as well as with a team
   » Have great management, organisational and administrative skills, while managing your own workload
   » Be able to work within our Ng?kau Purotu model of practice
   » Commitment to the principles of te Tiriti o Waitangi
   » Full drivers licence
This is a Management function therefore a background in Organisational Training and / or Teaching is essential. practice in the Health Sector would be preferable but not essential if you have a strong training and development background. Similarly if you have a nursing background and are familiar with sector training we would love to hear from you.
This is a full-time function with flexible working conditions for the right person.
