Job Offer: Production Support:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Fresh Concept Closes 25 Oct 2022 Posted on 10 Oct 2022 Region Auckland Work type Contract, Fixed Term Work classification Community & Access Arts, Technical Staff & Logistics ShareThe Production Support function will assist our team with the on the ground logistics of our busy summer calendar. This will include monitoring sites, basic maintenance and some on the ground event work. A normal day for this function may look like travelling to the waterfront to monitor use of a temporary public space, doing a gear drop off to a live activation then sanding and repainting a rainbow picnic table. It's a fun, fast paced and varied environment - every day will be a bit different! this function will be located at our Eden Terrace office and at various event and project sites across T?maki Makaurau. We estimate that this function will be between 25-35 hours a week and is flexible for the right person. This will be on the upper end of that scale from mid November to Mid December while our Production Manager is away. Hours will be a mixture of office hours and weekend work, depending on the event calendar. About us Fresh Concept is a multidisciplinary placemaking and events agency located in T?maki Makaurau. We're probably best known for our work at Silo Park - where every summer we bring Information technology to life with movies and events - but that's only the tip of the iceberg of what we do. Through our work we surprise and delight the people of T?maki Makaurau and help people feel pride in their space. We are a small, flexible and friendly team who enjoy working together and are passionate about the work we do and the impact that we have in our city. The details: » Contract, fixed term function starting from the 7th of November (negotiable) till about the end of February 2023. » 25-35 hours a week, hours negotiable for the right person. » Pay $30-38 an hour depending on practice + mileage and a phone allowance. We want to hear from you if you are: » People-focussed, enthusiastic and open to learning. » Observant with a good eye for detail. » Confident with basic tools, such as a drill, sander, saw. » Comfortable lifting/moving heavy objects (up to about 50kg) safely and responsibly. » Have your full clean drivers licence. » Are legally able to work in New Zealand. And it's an added bonus if you: » Have a current first aid certificate » Are able to drive manual vehicles. » Have your own laptop & phone (we will pay a contribution to your phone plan for the duration of the contract) » A forklift certification would be an added bonus.
