We have working DAIRY FARM adjunct MANAGER & DAIRY FARM adjunct functions to fill so seeking team member(s) with great energy and enthusiasm for immediate start or 1st June new season ahead start. Excellent opportunity to lgain and progress with supportive owners and friendly, welcoming team. Calving 900 cows milked through 50 bail rotary with ACR's and in-shed feeding. Flat 335ha farm near Lumsden, an hour from Te Anau and Invercargill, and 75 mins to Queenstown. Great infrastructure with hard hose effluent irrigator and water pivot irrigators. Cows wintered on and young stock grazed off at weaning in November. A wide and varied range of dairy farming activities including, but not limited to, winter crop feeding, day to day feed allocation, collecting cows and calves from the paddock, milking , feeding calves, weed control, attending to travelling effluent irrigator, tractor work, and general farm maintenance. As a team we are involved in all aspects of farming and slot into functions best suited to our strengths and weaknesses. Competitive remuneration negotiated to reflect practice, capability, qualifications and performance. Must have drivers licence, and dairy farming practice an advantage to 'hit the ground running'. Ideally suited to a couple or two friends as two bedroom on farm accommodation available. Sorry no pets, drugs or smoking.
