Just a Thought is a free online cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT) tool, uniquely designed with New Zealanders in mind. We're taking mental wellbeing support digital, and we're looking for someone to help us! Te Whiwhinga mahi | The opportunity Our tool is growing, and so is our team, so we have a great opportunity for a web developer to join us! You'll get to work closely with the wider team, gaining insight into all areas of Just a Thought and how we make our magic, whilst also getting to focus in on the development and maintenance of our online tool and website. We're always looking for ways to make our tool more engaging and intuitive, and you'll have endless opportunity to share your fresh ideas and unique insights! this function is full-time, 40 hours per week working Monday - Friday 8.30 - 5.00, located in Hamilton. M?u | About you You're looking for ways to make the world a better place with beautiful code, and you're wanting to build on your existing successes. You're the right fit if: » you're a fresh thinker, using curiosity and imagination to generate new ideas » you're passionate about creating user-friendly, fast and responsive web practices » you write clean, easy-to-read, efficient code » you're an effective communicator with a ?can do' attitude » you love being part of a team and thrive working in a collaborative environment. You will also have: » 7 or more years work practice in a development function » significant qualification or proven practice in preferred coding languages, frameworks, and libraries (PHP, MySQL, Postgres) » practice with front end development (JavaScript, CSS, SASS, Gulp) » practice in cloud architecture (Microsoft Azure a plus) » practice working in an agile team environment, or an interest in learning about agile would be a plus » an knowledge of UX, SEO and user research would be an advantage.
