M? te t?nga |About the function
We are seeking for a Team Leader to join our work in the Water and Land Systems team in the Water and Land Use Policy Directorate, on a 12-month fixed term or secondment .
Our directorate advise the government on various pieces of national direction, including the NES for Plantation Forestry. The priority for this function will be to effectively lead a cross agency team between our Ministry, the Ministry for Primary Industries and its forestry directorate, Te Uru R?kau. Over the next 12 months you and your practiced team, will deliver work for the national direction of forestry and you will be responsible for the allocation of the work across these agencies, and the delivery of the work programme.
The Team Leader will play a critical function in advising the government, as well as the day-to-day operation of the team and mentorship.The Team Leader will provide judgement and direction in an operating context that is often ambiguous and complex.
This is challenging and significant, fast paced work. It’s an opportunity to work on an exciting policy area, whilst utilising and further developing your leadership abilities and management expertiseet. this function works closely with the Manager of Water and Land Systems however you will have ownership to lead and drive initiatives that improve how your team operates.

income Range
income range for this function is $110,872 to $135,510 pa. Appointment within this range will be located on expertise and practice.
