we At Presenthave 2fixed term, fulltime (37.5 hours per week) functions available to start immediately until 21 April 2023.
The functions will be located across various faculties and on campus. There may be an opportunity to work in the house 1 day per week once you have learned the function.
The Sub-Doctoral Research Coordinator is responsible for supporting Postgraduate students undertaking research (30 Points and above) by supporting processes connected with sub-doctoral research. The Sub-Doctoral Research Coordinator will contact with Central Academic Services, to ensure processes are completed in a timely, and efficient way, ensuring the student has a seamless practice. Where appropriate the Sub-Doctoral Research Coordinator will case manage specialist needs for Sub-Doctoral Research Students providing individualised assistance and where appropriate referrals to other service providers to support the student's academic journey. The Sub-Doctoral Research Coordinator will also look for ways to continuously improve the services that are provided to students via faculties web, Contact Centre and Student Hubs.
   » Ensure core processes supporting the academic progress of postgraduate research students are completed with accuracy and according to strict University deadlines.
   » Be an initial point of contact for research postgraduate students (30 points and above), providing specialist advice and support where appropriate and escalating to Programme Directors, Course Directors and Associate Deans PGR.
   » Manage the examination process for 30 point+ research components (from nomination of examiners and assessors, to submission, marking and confirmation of final grade).
income: $58,000 – $64,000 dependent on practice.
