Due to growth, they are now looking for an intermediate level project manager that ideally has commercial project practice and a degree of infrastructure project practice such as land development, utilities and rail projects (not essential). The function will see you being supported by a senior project manager and with appropriate mentoring, typically you will need to be able to: » Establish the project through appointing consultants, producing practiccapability studies, monitoring all statutory processes and advising on procurement options » Project manage the construction phase, having responsibility for QA/risk, financial reporting, budget management/cost control, programming, defects list, remedial works and various project reports » Manage stakeholders and conduct and/or chair meetings As a project manager, you will need to come from a construction consultancy/client-side background. You have 4 - 7- years of NZ located practice with involvement on projects across industries such as aged care, high rise residential, health, education, utilities and rail. A tertiary qualification in Architecture, Quantity Surveying, Building Surveying, Building Science, or Engineering is essential. leadership abilities qualities, a tenacious attitude and passion for what you do will make the cut in this environment.
