Casita Miro is a small, family-run restaurant and winery that has been operating for 28 years. Wines are grown and vinted onsite and are served in our Spanish-themed restaurant. We are an organisation where sustaincapability is at the core of everything that we do - power is generated onsite, all waste products are fermented, composted, and returned to the earth, and renewables and up-cyclables are our building blocks. People need to be looked after in a sustainable manner too! Pastoral and professional mentoring is at the heart of our practice. We are an accredited teaching institution and have had chefs, front of house and viticultural apprenticeships for many years. We also advocate for healthy and safe practices in all areas of our endeavours. We are currently looking for chefs of all levels to fill out our wonderful kitchen team. Do you have the following expertise/character? » Well organised, well presented, reliable and trustworthy. » Comfortable with multi-tasking. » Professional, polite and friendly at all times. » Self-motivated. » Eager to lgain and develop new expertise. » Strong leadership abilities attitude. » Be located on or willing to relocate to the beautiful Waiheke Island. If this sounds like you, we can offer you at least NZD$25.50 per hour (and above depending on your practice level) and staff accommodation. We will also offer a NZD$500 sign on bonus and a completion bonus if you commit to us for a period of more than 12months.
