Working within a team of 6 you will be responsible for processing day to day payroll transactions & assisting with payroll enquiries across the business. This is a great opportunity for someone to build their experience and grow their knowledge. » Assist payroll team in completing weekly associate payroll including Payee Record Acceptance / Updates, Loading of Payee Deductions, and Checking / Processing of branch weekly payroll » Maintain accurate payroll records » Respond to payroll related and ensure accurate payroll processing in the system » Develop and build excellent working relationships with the branch network » Timely response and action of incoming requests » General support for the payroll team » Process and follow up deductions from WINZ, IRD and other Government forms relating to associate payroll, ensuring all documents are scanned into the system as applicable. This position would suit someone with 1 - 3 years experience in a payroll or accounts position however we would also welcome applications from candidates who can demonstrate strong data input experience in another role and a desire to learn! » Understanding of payroll processes and systems » Demonstrated experience within a customer service role preferred » Intermediate computer software abilities including Microsoft Office » Highly accurate data entry abilities Salary dependent on experience.
