Offer: Associate Professor / Senior Lecturer – School of Nursing:MasseyUniJob description:Job DescriptionCollege of HealthAuckland We have a great opportunity to appoint a vibrant and engaged Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer to the School of Nursing at Massey University, one of the most prestigious and well-respected Schools of Nursing in Aotearoa New Zealand. This full-time position is available on our Auckland campus in Albany. The Associate Professor/Senior Lecturer function will see you provide outstanding leadership abilities in Primary Health Care education and research within nursing undergraduate and postgraduate programmes. You will have practice in Primary Health Care, including long-term condition management. You will contribute and lead strategy, coordination, and teaching within the Bachelor of Nursing programme and lead development of a strong research culture underpinned by your skill in developing prosperous research grant applications. Working with colleagues with skills across a wide variety of disciplines in the field, you will have an enthusiasm for developing the nursing profession, strengthening cultural safety capacity within programmes, and exhibit strong leadership abilities and teaching skills. Whilst We are pursuing to appoint at the Associate Professor level, we are open to considering applications at Senior Lecturer level. About you, and what you will bring: » Recent clinical and/or education practice in Primary Health Care nursing » practice in teaching delivery, including blended delivery » Publication in national and/or international media on aspects of health care and practice » Current New Zealand Nursing Council registration as a nurse » A completed PhD in nursing or a related discipline » Excellent communication and relationship management skills with the capability to engage interdisciplinary teams and foster internal and external connections necessary to support processes What’s on offer?
