Offer: Au Pair / Nanny / Homehelp:Job description:Au Pair / Nanny / HomehelpPayment: Accommodation & Paid ($20.00)Job location: Whakahoro Region: Taupo & Central Plateau practice: practice Necessary Listing Added: 06/12/2021 We are seeking for Somebody with a genuine love of children to join our family on our 7200 acre sheep and beef farm, tourism destination and conservation project in the Ruapehu district. We have four outgoing and enthusiastic children aged 10, 7 and 3 year old twins. In addition to caring for the children, our Au Pair will help with household chores such as cooking and cleaning, and will have a handful of farm tasks including collecting eggs from the chickens and feeding dogs and horses. This position would suit someone who enjoys the outdoors. We don't have a TV so the kids are great at building huts, climbing trees, reading books, playing in their sandpit, playing in the mud, riding motorbikes and riding ponies You will be located at www.blueduckstation.co.nz but as we have a family home at the beach and a ski lodge near Mt Ruapehu you will need to be someone who doesn’t mind travelling. Length of employment is by negotiation, could be short or long term but we desperately need someone who can start this December Accommodation will be your own room in a staff house 200m from our family home with other young, fun members of the Blue Duck team. If you are responsible, patient, can multitask and are able to start soon please get in touch. We can arrange first aid training if you don’t already have it. English is not essential if Spanish is your native language. Working hours are either 8.30am - 5.30pm or 10.30am - 7.30pm You are guaranteed two days off per week plus all statutory holidays and can partake in any activities we offer in our tourism business; jet boating, kayaking horse riding, bush safari's, guided hunting, swimming, farm or conservation work, clay target shooting, nature walks, or simply relax and enjoy a good book with the tranquility of Mother Nature around you While our location is remote (our nearest town is National Park Village, approximately 1 hours drive) you get to live in one of the most beautiful locations in the world!
