Responsibilities: » This is a Monday to Friday role, 7.30am - 4pm based in the heart of Albany. » Perform routine inspections and planned maintenance tasks at closed landfill sites across various locations in Auckland. » Respond to urgent callouts throughout the Auckland region, ensuring timely resolution of maintenance issues. » Work in a hands-on capacity to complete tasks safely and meet client requirements and contract obligations. Requirements: » Minimum of 1 years' experience in a mechanical or electrical environment, plumbing, agricultural work, or a related field, preferably with involvement in water and/or wastewater systems. » Understanding or interest in Pump Stations & Leachate collection networks is highly desirable. » Hold a valid full class one Driver's license and proficiency in driving a manual vehicle. » Confined space entry training is advantageous. » Experience or familiarity with explosive environments will be beneficial. » Demonstrable problem-solving skills to effectively address maintenance challenges. » Ability to undergo a pre-employment drug test. » Have no pending criminal convictions. *All appointments will be subject to a pre-employment drug test and MOJ security check.
