Ministerial Resourcing is a team located within MaSS, a business unit responsible for providing a range of services to the executive arm of government (including VIP Transport, managing official visits to New Zealand), as well as support and advisory functions to bodies such as the Gambling Commission.
The Portfolio Manager reports directly to the Manager, Ministerial Resourcing, Ministerial Services (MaSS), with prosperous candidates expected to be a key people leader within Ministerial Resourcing.
Key responsibilities of the function are to ensure their portfolio Ministers and their offices have the staff and resources they require and to which they are entitled, to operate effectively within agreed resourcing parameters.
