Can you work independently within a high performing, supportive team environment? located in Auckland, you will work within the student recruitment team to ensure the University’s offering is shared with students by developing an effective sales and student recruitment strategy for key schools and regions that speaks to a diverse range of students and inspires and encourages them to choose UC. In an effort to achieve this, some domestic travel will be required in order to build effective relationships with schools, kura, stakeholders and students across the country. You will use your passion for education along with your excellent sales expertise to provide accurate advice and information to assist and empower students in making key study decisions, through presentations, face to face appointments, events, and a range of communications. Who You Are Naturally, you will have an outgoing personality, with a passion and enthusiasm for working in the Education Sector. Creativity and innovative thinking will come naturally to you, and you will have success in sales or account management. You will have excellent communication and people expertise with the capability to develop and maintain relationships with a range of key stakeholders. Your proven presentation expertise and your confidence to address a wide variety of audiences is essential to be prosperous in this function. You will be comfortable working independently within a small office environment. Ideally you will have a formal Bachelor’s Degree qualification with a minimum of 2-3 years’ practice in marketing, advisory, or sales.
