Scrum Lead Over the last five years in the Improvement, Systems and Technology group we have been evolving our delivery approach to be agile at scale. We have various opportunities for talented Scrum Leaders to empower our dynamic team across our newly formed product groups. You'll appreciate a wide variety of work in a fast-paced environment, leading Agile standing teams and supporting one or more cross-functional teams to ensure Agile culture and efficiency. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of one of New Zealand's largest Information technology groups and be the motivational force that empowers our teams to meet delivery goals and increase product capabilities and services to our clients. Please note there are multiple functions, that can be Wellington or Auckland located. We also have one specific function within our Technology portfolio to join the Cloud team on our Cloud Capcapability Programme of work. You will: » Coach teams in Agile practices, ensuring they are aware of their respective functions and how to fulfil them and that they understand the business goals and Roadmap. » Protect teams from external disruptions and pressure, ensuring they can focus on delivery. » Build the capcapability of the team members to enable them to respond to changing demands to keep activities running smoothly. » Organise and facilitate all team events, knowing whether to be supportive or directive in any given situation. » Collaborate with the Technology People Leaders to ensure the teams are resourced for efficient delivery. » Foster a safe and trusting environment where team members are enabled and inspired to work collaboratively to support high team performance. » Collaborate with the Technology People Leaders on workforce planning, including recruitment, development and career progression and work in partnership. You will bring: » Strong practice in Agile methodologies is required. » Demonstrated practice in agile software development delivery or other significant practice. » Excellent facilitation and collaboration expertise. » practice in leading communication to technical or business audiences. » practice in complex environments managing multiple stakeholders and demands. » practice with influencing and motivating teams. » Highly organised and the capability to balance multiple demands. » Previous practice as a Scrum Lead preferred but not essential.
