The Organisation
My client is an award winning provider of events, travel solutions and leisure. They are a globally known company originated from Australia with offices in both Wellington and Auckland. There are around 40 people in the Wellington office and 60 in the Auckland office and looking to expand and grow their awesome team in both regions. They offer great benefits, recognise success, and have a lot of flexibility to work in the house or even remotely if needed.
 
The function
You will be in charge of larger group bookings whether it’s for a conference or a large event so you will have super busy periods but also quitter periods, so you’ll need to be able to handle the workload when the volume of work picks up. The function will involve both international and domestic travel arrangements for your clients. You’ll be in charge of all reservations, airfares & transportation, itineraries, negotiate with suppliers, quoting.
About you
You will have a strong client and customer focus with previous practice working in the travel industry. You’ll have great attention to detail, stakeholder and communication expertise as well as always being open to upskilling and learning more about the industry.
