We are recruiting for an Asset Coordinator to join a progressive, market leading business in the manufacturing industry.

Location: Penrose
Job Type: Permanent, full time, Monday - Friday
Salary: $58,000 negotiable dependent on experience

The Role: Working within a team of 5, and reporting to the supply chain leader, you will be responsible for scheduling the transportation of goods throughout the country and analysing stock levels to ensure sufficient levels are maintained throughout branches. This is a fast paced role in which you will be responsible for ensuring the needs of clients are met and serviced efficiently. You will:
   » Work with customers to forecast stock and delivery requirements
   » Plan and schedule to ensure materials and orders are delivered in full and on time across the North and South Island
   » Liaise with key stakeholders including drivers, the sales team, branch managers and internal reports
   » Supply all correct documentation to the drivers to ensure smooth delivery and record all information and deliveries accurately on the system
   » Organise deliveries with outside carriers when required
   » Help to identify areas of excess or insufficient stock levels within branches
   » Reporting on, reviewing and analysing deliveries against performance indicators
   » Communicate with drivers and sales staff regarding delivery issues
   » Work with Customer Service team to organise backorders

The Candidate:
   » Customer service experience
   » Strong communication and negotiation skills
   » Good level of computer skills - able to use Google sheets/excel and learn internal systems
   » A proactive approach and the ability to problem solve and make decisions
   » Experience in a fast paced role with the ability to work under pressure
   » Experience working within Supply chain, logistics, warehousing or a coordination role advantageous
   » Experience in Production or Transportation desirable but not essential
