The Communications Manager plays an important function in showcasing the events, activities and people of the orchestra. This is a mid-level position within the APO Marketing team that is perfect for someone looking to make their next career move. With over 65 concerts and events each year the APO is a busy, vibrant and compensateing place to work. APO is seeking someone who is a great team player who will thrive on the exciting challenges and opportunities that the Communications Manager function offers. The purpose of the function is to maximise opportunities to drive consciousness of the APO and engagement with key audiences and stakeholders. The prosperous candidate should be a great communicator with a proactive attitude and proven track record in media relations. Excellent content creation and relationship-building skills are essential and practice in the arts, events and/or non-profit sector is desirable.
