We are seeking for fixed term full, part and casual shuttle drivers for the coming Summer season which is looking to be pumping! We are a close, fun team who enjoy our working environment and love to share our enthusiasm with our visitors who come to practice some of the best riding the area has to offer. Our visitors are a diverse group ranging from hard core 100km in one day bombers to family groups spending their recreational time learning about the history and enjoying the bush in this beautiful area. The capability to communicate with all is essential. We have availcapability on our scheduled runs as well as extra work for those who want Information technology on Charter Shuttles, Vehicle Transfers and general helping around the base. We ask that you possess: » An Interest in trail biking (know a back wheel from a front wheel or are keen to learn) » An Interest in our local history and environment » Good communication expertise and an capability to interact with our visitors and assist them when necessary » Some technological expertise as our systems are largely internet located » A reasonable fitness level as some heavy lifting is required (eg lifting E-Bikes) » A P Endorsement or capability to obtain » Class 2 or capability to obtain In return we can offer: » A Summer of fun! » Shuttles for your days off bombing the trail! » Staff Bike Hire » Varied hours of work – we have a variety of positions to fill » Fixed term contracts to June 2022 » A good rate of pay Please note we can not offer accommodation. Our base is at Ongarue, 20 minutes north of Taumarunui in the Ruapehu area.
