Te Kawa Mataaho Public Service Commission leads the public sector to make a positive difference for New Zealand and New Zealanders.
The Integrity, Ethics and Standards Group supports the Public Service Commissioner to promote integrity, accountcapability and transparency and to nurture a strong, unified culture across the Public Service. We are seeking for an practiced Manager to lead and manage a team of professionals that provide analysis, advice and deliver a work broad and exciting work programme.
As Manager Integrity, Ethics and Standards you will build a cohesive and high performing team in a stimulating professional environment. Use your management expertise to grow and develop the capcapability of a talented, supportive and inclusive team and help them achieve their aspirations. This is an opportunity to lead the development and delivery of interventions to influence change at a system level. In this function you will:
   » Support the implementation of public service reform, including nurturing the spirit of service that public servants bring to their work and supporting agencies to uphold public service principles and values
   » Develop the Standards of Integrity and Conduct and guidance that sets the standards of behaviour for public servants
   » Work with Chief executive, leaders, expert practitioners and key stakeholders to grow good practice
   » Lead the development and implementation of open government initiatives, including the Open Government Partnership National Action plans
   » Provide high-quality advice on a broad range of integrity, active citizenship and open government matters.
You will have:
   » practice in managing teams of people with the capability to bring together the contributions of diverse teams to deliver a complex work programme
   » The capability to lead collaboratively and develop new and challenging ways of thinking about issues
   » Sophisticated interpersonal expertise and the capability to develop relationships including understand different stakeholder's motivations and the capability to influence and persuade
   » knowledge of the principles of Te Tiriti o Waitangi and practice engaging with M?ori and including M?ori perspectives in your work.
