QC TechnicianJob location:Auckland Rodney & North Shore Work Type: Permanent » » » » Fulltime permanent afternoon/early evening function, Mon to Friday, 3pm to 11pm » $25.39 to 29.39/hour (shift allowance incl) PLUS 5 weeks paid leave » Very reliable NZ owned Northshore manufacturing company The company » My client is renowned in their field, their practice is in servicing the needs of the pharmaceutical, medical, food, nutritional and personal care industries which has seen continued growth and expansion of their plant’s capabilities. function overview » In two nearby Northshore locations, you will be reporting to the Quality Manager as a QC Technician and working in the finished goods warehouse and production environment » Be involved with quality control and measurement checks, inspections, and recording of data into company software programs etc. You will not be expected to execute all the below tasks immediately: tasks » Quality checks via visible appearance and comparison that product is packed to acceptable standards ie in cartons/pallets » Notify manager when above not met » Do start-up and in-process inspections and testing, liaising closely with production staff » Check production documentation and data recorded is accurate » Ensure the cartons/pallets are packed correctly to the packing specifications/instructions » Some equipment use, simple trimming and emergency stop machines if necessary » Storage of information (Folders, and use of MS Outlook, Q-Pulse quality management systems & Aspect workforce management software) » Health & Safety etc You » Previous practice working in a Quality Department » Very good computer literacy and attention to detail » Excellent English language expertise » Confident communicator ie to raise any product concerns with the manager/Quality Manager » NZ RESIDENT or CITIZEN essential as this is a permanent function Offer » Shift allowance plus hourly rate = $25.39 to 29.39/hour dependent on whether you are a Junior or Senior QC Technician » Plus 5 weeks paid leave! » Join a prosperous company and advance your career and expertise in the high demand area of Quality Control! » Great hours 3pm to 11pm, Monday to Friday » Friendly team and the opportunity to build your career awaits!
