The function
My client are looking for someone who enjoys a fun and creative work environment and who is flexible and adaptable. this function will be a fixed term as they are going through an HR restructure and will be in the design phase although there is the potential to go permanent.
 
This position will include the responsibilities of recruitment and selection, health, safety & wellbeing, performance management and remuneration, learning and development, employment relations and policy development. A key part of this function will be coaching and advising managers and staff in a way that builds HR capcapability across the organisation.
 
Job responsibilities:
   »  Policy and process development and improvement
   »  Training and development
   »  Payroll – Manage the service provider relationship
   »  Performance management
   »  Remuneration
   »  Change Management
   »  Health and safety
 
To be prosperous:
   »  3+ years practice in a generalist Human Resources function
   »  An appreciation of Te Reo Maori
   »  Competent with Microsoft applications
   »  Tertiary qualification or significant practice required
   »  The right to work in New Zealand
