The function

• Public Sector Client looking for talented and self-motivated Desktop Analyst’s to join their busy team.
• Be an integral part of a team focused on supporting a State sector wide objective to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of government, ensuring Information technology has the resilience, capcapability and values that underpin organisational success.
• Be responsible for all customer interactions related to the day-to-day support of desktop, infrastructure, and network capabilities.
• Join a customer centric adaptable team with a can-do attitude and a real desire to help people who provide technical skills to resolve complex I.T enquiries.
• Opportunity for those with a wide breath of technical skills and a solid track record of exceeding customers' expectations who are looking to grow their technical skills across a variety of I.T tools and environments.

Skills & practice

• Must be located in New Zealand and have full working rights
• Competent technical skills with significant industry practice in a similar function - within a Public Sector environment is beneficial
• Highly developed documentation & communication skills – able to translate the technical into non-technical.
• Competent mentoring others and being an escalation point within the team and wider group.
• practice with the following – Basic knowledge of Active Directory (Group Policy, PowerShell scripting), Windows 10/11, SCCM, Endpoint/Intune, Exchange Admin, Defender for Endpoint, ServiceNow Administration/Developer, Firmware, driver and application roll out, Hardware and Software/Application Troubleshooting, Polycom practice for meeting room support
• Must be driven by a strong customer service focus and an enjoyment in solving real problems for customers. • Must have a strong desire to deal with real problems, to learn, be curious, love technology, and be a team player who wants to contribute positively.
• capability to hold a national clearance if required
