You will ideal be able to provide insight for the SFFF team on the barriers and opportunities for M?ori that would connect them with the SFF Funding programme and you will be able to gain insight into the opportunities for M?ori that M?ori Agribusiness could support. You will ideally have the following expertise: Essential for this function: » Be a natural connector » Understand whenua M?ori and the challenges faced by M?ori » Have grant funding practice » A availability to operate in a team that prioritises tikanga and te reo M?ori » Government practice Desirable: » Good knowledge of tikanga and te reo M?ori » Medium to advance expertise in Microsoft excel and other Microsoft programmes » availability to provide support to other team members when required Senior Programmes Adviser (Permanent) this function is particularly for those who enjoy analysing data and turning Information technology into useful information. We are seeking for a dedicated person to monitor our grant funding and provide analysis about where we are investing, risk and opportunities across all 4 funding programmes. You will ideally have the following expertise: Essential for this function: » At least 2 years in a similar function » Medium to advance Microsoft Excel expertise or any other data analysis programme » The capability to communicate the information to your audience » Excellent writing expertise » Understand whenua M?ori and the challenges faced by M?ori » Being a team player and a availability to be a mentor to junior staff Desirable: » knowledge of tikanga and te reo maori » knowledge of government funding programmes » Primary sector practice » Government practice M? t? m?tou R?p? – About the Team The M?ori Agribusiness (MAB) Directorate is responsible for contributing to the identification and implementation of viable primary sector economic development opportunities through the provision of information, intelligence and advice on issues specific to M?ori; for ensuring MPI and MAB are well connected and engaged with significant M?ori fora, initiatives and people; and for providing advice and informing MPI on M?ori-related issues and impacts.
