Front of House managers:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Auckland Theatre Company Closes 14 Mar 2021 Posted on 3 Mar 2021 Region Auckland Work type Casual employment Work classification Performing Arts ShareWe are seeking for Casual Front of house managers to help lead our front of house team to provide our audiences with a premium and unforgettable practice.The front of house managers will lead a team which works across ushering, bars, concierge and car park. Our front of house team are the face of the ASB Waterfront Theatre, and therefore need to have the capability to communicate confidently and effectively with people from all walks of life, while also being approachable, professional and well-presented. Relicapability, a proactive approach to problem solving, punctuality and the capability to follow instructions under pressure are also highly valued. Previous practice supervising in food and beverage is essential. LCQ and First Aid qualifications as well as previous practice of working in a similar venue with an consciousness of health & safety is useful but not a requirement as full training will be provided. Shifts are predominantly in the evenings and weekends on a casual basis. There is also the opportunity to work casual front of house functions alongside supervising shifts. These functions are paid at the living wage. candidates must be 18 years old or older and have the right to work in New Zealand.
