The Role
As an Administration Assistant, you will be an integral member of a small team of consultants delivering to both corporate client and individual travel management requirements. Reporting to the Manager, this role requires somebody that ideally has proven corporate or retail travel accounting or administration experience and is equally adept at supporting the day-to day business needs across the broad spectrum of agency needs.
You must have sound technical abilities and be familiar with Sabre, Powersuite, BSP. Familiarity with Serko will be a bonus. You must have great attention to detail, be a self-starter and above all they're seeking a consultant that is willing to go that extra mile for their clients in service delivery.
The business provides 24/7 support to clients, so flexibility will be required at times to manage customer needs. The role is Part-time (20-25 hours per week approximately and is fixed term for 3-6months) It is based at their airport location offices where parking is provided. There is also flexibility in this role around hours required in the office versus work from home to suit the business and your personal needs. For the right candidate this role could develop into permanent in the future.
Duties
   » Account Management-processing supplier invoices, remittances, and issuing debtor invoices
   » Reporting-monthly financial reporting, client reporting and measurement to agreed SLAs, and corporate card reconciliation
   » Work to meet and exceed internal and client expectations wherever possible, whilst using sound judgement, reasoning, and strong interpersonal skills
   » Ensure client database is up to date
   » Ensure payment conditions and credit policy is adhered to
   » Actively promote safety and just culture.
Skills and Experience
   » High-level verbal reasoning, written, and communication skills.
   » Minimum two years working experience in administration and/or accounting in the travel agency environment.
   » Proven work experience in general travel/retail consulting
   » Practical understanding of day-to-day agency requirements, and ability to be flexible to focus on priorities.
   » Exceptional customer service focus.
   » Thrive in an environment that enables autonomy and values innovation.
   » Proven ability to use multiple company IT systems such as Sabre and Powersuite, as well as advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite and Google; These are must-have competencies.
   » Demonstrated high-level personal qualities in relation to adaptability, flexibility, commitment, ability to apply sound judgement and reasoning, and the ability to effectively prioritise tasks and to understand and implement contingency plans.
