Offer: Festival Administrator:Job description:Job detailsOrganisation Auckland Writers Festival Waituhi o T?maki Closes 8 Dec 2022 Posted on 23 Nov 2022 Region Auckland Work type Full time employment Work classification Literature & Publishing ShareAuckland Writers Festival Waituhi o T?maki is seeking a fulltime Festival Administrator to look after Festival administration and accounts, manage the Festival office, administer the Ockham New Zealand Book Awards, and provide project and other support services to the Board, the Chief Executive and the Festival team. The Auckland Writers Festival is one of this country's major cultural events, delivering a six-day, 170+ event programme every May and drawing writers and audience from around the world. You will be someone who enjoys multi-tasking, has a good head for figures and an eye for detail, and likes implementing and improving systems and processes. You will have demonstrated expertise in administration and project management, a collaborative style, good interpersonal expertise, and a hands-on approach as part of a small and committed team. Flexibility and initiative are a must, as are strong computer expertise including Word and Excel. practice in Xero is preferred but training will be offered for the right candidate. An interest in the arts, and in literature in particular, is desirable. Start date is early 2023. income is negotiable depending on expertise and practice. Applications close on Thursday 8December.
