About the function The function of the Clinical Director involves leadership abilities, developing and implementing appropriate standards, monitoring processes, quality systems, clinical training and professional development that ensure residents have their clinical, spiritual, cultural, social and physical needs met. You will ensure that all services offered are reflective of industry best practice and are fully compliant with legal and contractual obligations. Using your practice and expertise gained from professional development and practice practice, you will contribute to the delivery of business requirements including knowledge the key drivers of business performance, professional development and assuring effective resource utilisation. About you • A minimum of three years’ practice at middle clinical management level or higher • Understands and can work within appropriate legislation. • Sound management practice and knowledge of the Clinical and contractual environment related to the older adult. • Competence in Microsoft suite, particularly Word. • Post graduate Nursing qualification at master’s level or PhD, Gerontological major desirable. • Current APC with no conditions. • Current drivers’ license.
