Role & Responsibilities

This position offers a great balance between account management of existing clients & driving new business through cold calling, client visits, networking and promotion. During busier periods, there may be operational support needed to assist in arranging courses. The overarching aim is to lead business development with new clients through primarily Auckland and NZ as well as managing those accounts.

Purpose will include;

- Taking ownership of B2B sales & ongoing account management for commercial clients.

- Interacting with clients in a consultative format, providing them with specific product knowledge & return on investment criteria.

- Personal leadership shown through driving productivity & effectiveness in your role.

- Strength & ability in moving clients through the full sales journey & striving towards individual KPIS.

What will set you up for success in this role?

- Experience in representing a product or service, cold calling and creating strategic relationships.

- Experience working in a business development role, ideally relating to H&S, training or education or other services.

- Strong interpersonal & communication skills through a tailored approach.

- Patience & determination with new business.
- Experience presenting proposals and negotiating contracts.

- Advanced MS office & sales force skills, tech savvy with CRM and sales systems.
