Job Opportunity: Senior Advisor Treaty Response – Oranga Tamariki:HainesAttractJob description:Job DescriptionWellingtonS7AA Treaty Response Unit: Senior Advisors Making an impact Are you a strategic thinker with practice in providing advice and assurance on Te Tiriti o Waitangi? The Treaty Response Unit within Oranga Tamariki is searching for Senior Advisors to join the team and contribute to influencing change across the Ministry. Responsible for monitoring and evaluating Oranga Tamariki’s response to Te Tiriti, the Unit plays a critical function in monitoring and reporting on the extent to which progress is being made towards reducing disparities for tamariki M?ori. About the function As a Senior Advisor you will possess strong written skills and have the capability to provide high quality analysis, advice and assurance on section 7AA across the Ministry’s policies, practices and services. As well as playing a leading function in the monitoring and evaluation of Oranga Tamariki’s response to Te Tiriti o Waitangi, you will have the opportunity to contribute to the future direction of the Ministry. this function requires Somebody with the capability to build strong working relationships with colleagues across the Ministry and in other social sector agencies, including representing the Ministry on inter-agency working groups.
