We are currently accepting applications from international candidates, however due to border restrictions caused by Covid-19 and the worldwide pandemic, we will only process applications from non NZ Citizens or non NZ Residents who are likely to gain border exemption and an appropriate NZ Work Visa.
We have a great opportunity to appoint two innovative and efficient part-time Administrators to the Te Rau Puawai programme at Massey University. Te Rau Puawai is a partnership between Health Workforce New Zealand and Massey University, its aim is to increase professionalism in the M?ori mental health workforce by supporting Massey University students who are studying towards a qualification in this field. One of the most prosperous academic support programmes in the country, over the last 20 years Information technology has helped more than 400 health workers into the M?ori mental health workforce. These part-time positions are fixed-term until 10th December 2021.
The Administrator position will see you contribute to the continuing success of the programme by providing efficient and effective administrative support to Te Rau Puawai staff. Your tasks will include general administration as well as reviewing current systems and processes identifying where enhancements may be possible, providing Te Rau Puawai bursar and student support which includes actioning enquiries and processing of fee payments as well as other financial, record keeping and administrative tasks as required.
Key attributes required:
   » practice in general administration tasks is essential
   » Proficiency in Microsoft suite of applications to an intermediate level is essential
   » Requirements to pass a Criminal and Traffic Convictions Check performed by the Ministry of Justice and a Credit History and No Asset Procedure Credit History Check performed by Equifax are essential
   » Demonstrated practice in SharePoint, or other form of digital records management systems is an advantage
   » Work practice in a university is desirable but not essential
   » Qualifications in administration are desirable but not essential
   » A positive attitude and professional approach to work
   » A high level of interpersonal communication expertise and capability to work effectively with internal and external stakeholders
   » Can provide excellent customer service to meet objectives
What’s on offer?
We are offering two part-time fixed-term Administrator positions, ranging from 0.3 – 0.5 FTE. (11.25 – 18.75 hours) The positions are until 10th December 2021. You can be located on any of our three campuses; Albany, Manawat? or Wellington. If you are interested in applying, please advise in your cover letter the campus you can be located from.
