We're looking to employ 2 keen people to join and complete our of team to hand-thin our apple and pear crop, starting approx Monday 22 November and continuing until approx 21 December. If you've had previous horticultural practice, especially fruit picking, that's great but not essential as we will give you full training but you must be prepared to work off a ladder. We are a small family owned & managed business and we have grown quality apples and pears for over 100 years. We're located close to lovely Mapua & centrally located between Motueka and Richmond in the Nelson district. Being a smaller business means we work closely with our staff in a positive, fair and friendly environment. Our base wage rate is $21.00 per hour, plus 8% holiday pay on top, AND we also operate an incentive remuneration scheme which provides the opportunity to compensate productive and motivated staff with a productivity bonus being paid for staff who work quickly, carefully and thoroughly.
