We offer incredible audience practices across our six sites; City Gallery Wellington, Capital E, Wellington Museum, Space Place, Cable Car Museum and Nairn Street Cottage.We are seeking for a proactive and organised person to support practice Wellington's involvement in the Te Matapihi project. The redeveloped Te Matapihi building (formerly the Central Library) is planned to open in 2025 with Capital E relocated into the space. We have been working with the Wellington City Council project team, architects and project managers on scoping this large-scale and complex project, and are in the concept development phase. As the project starts to pick up speed, we need a Project Coordinator to contact with internal and external stakeholders, connect various strands of the project, support with admin, deadlines, deliverables, planning and reporting, organise, and record internal Project Team meetings, and support the Director of Children, Young People and Community Engagement with ensuring there is a strong voice for children and young people in the programmes and spaces. You'll need to have excellent communication and liaison expertise, high-level administration, logistics and planning expertise, the capability to summarise plans and deadlines in a streamlined and accurate way and practice in working on complex and fast-moving projects.
