Procurement agentJob location:Auckland Manukau & East Auckland Work Type: Permanent » » » »Modern Healthcare environment, South Auckland »Job security, Wellness programme, allowance for medical insurance etc »Join Supply Chain team, procurement/inventory control mix Our client » Our client is within the Healthcare sector and prides themselves on serving the community through clinical excellence and providing a service that is second to none. » Reporting to the Supply Chain Manager you will be part of a total team of four, and this is a great career growth opportunity too Purpose » To ensure that effective and efficient stock control systems are implemented and maintained » Purchasing of all medical/surgical products and equipment, sourced at the best price, delivered on time and accounted for to meet the needs of the clinical staff and patient services. Key accountabilities Include leadership abilities, planning, quality and performance » On a everyday basis, that invoices are matched against orders and packing slips to ensure valid payments » Key performance indicators are developed for the procurement and supply processes that reflect the operational plan including stock-turn and rotation » Day to day feedback/reports provided to the Supply Chain Manager as required » Minimum and Maximum stock levels are determined and maintained » Internal stores distribution is coordinated in a timely and well planned manner » Stock is maintained at the planned level and expenditure is managed within budget and allocated resources » Products are loaded onto the stock management system and the financial and utilisation information is collected, analysed and reported formally by use of spreadsheets, graphs etc » Assist with the annual stock take of all inventories » Procurement of specialist items undertaken in consultation with significant Clinical management You » Procurement/purchasing practice in a supply chain / inventory focused function » An interest in the Medical / Healthcare sector » ERP systems practice & Excel reporting expertise » great customer relationship building expertise (for internal staff and external suppliers etc) » Solutions focused, able to’ think on your feet’, working within in a fast paced environment » A sense of humour and be physically fit On Offer » Career development into a more senior function superviseing staff at a later date » Annual reviews » Hours are 40/week (flexible start time) with free parking » Wellness programme » 10 days sick leave (already) » Generous allowance for medical insurance (after brief qualifying period) and other benefits! » An inventory control/purchasing/storeroom mix ie not always all day on the computer, but not appropriate if just ex-warehouse Interested?
