About the role: Our client is currently looking for a production co-ordinator to co-ordinate the Site and Supply Chain activities across various stages of the nutritional powder blending and packing processes. Key accountabilities would include: » Working closely with intercompany departments ensuring production schedules are met with no downtime » Generating, analysing, and publishing variance and production reports to the Operations team » Ensuring inventory accuracy, FIFO and DIFOTIS for all manufacturing plants on site and investigating / escalating any failures » Preparing and issuing all paperwork required by the Manufacturing Teams to produce scheduled production » Maintaining full traceability and compliance in accordance with RMP, CNCA and Market Access requirements » Liaising closely with the Quality Department ensuring raw materials and finished goods are processed and available in a timely manner » Involvement in procedure creation and review for tasks related to role » Input in internal and external audits » Raising, review and RCAs for NC's, deviations, audit actions and holds ensuring timely completion and closure » Timely completion of works orders within company's ERP system, ensuring accuracy of data entry and received records » Leading and influencing manufacturing teams to get the best outcomes with top quality products » Record production details to help generate weekly/monthly reports of production performance The ideal candidate will possess the following: » Intermediate level computer literacy and Microsoft (Word/Excel) skill level. » Good system knowledge and proven competences in ERP systems (knowledge of Abel would be a distinct advantage) » Flexible and co-operative working style essential for working across the different business areas to work collaboratively and build internal and external relationships » Balances the interest of customers with the needs of the Company and readily adjust priorities to respond to changing demands » Works well under pressure, flexible and open to improvements / change » Strong understanding of H&S » High level of accuracy, detail orientated and effective time management » Clear communication skills at all levels in the organisation, self-learner, working well both individually and in a team » Have a strong work ethic, honest and reliable » Comprehensive understanding of manufacturing process and machinery for dairy, infant and nutritional products would be an advantage Our client is looking for someone who can use their initiative in a changeable, fast paced environment and consistently ensure fantastic team performance with clear communication skills and attention to detail.
