Our real business transformation doesn’t impact one area of DIA but the whole organisation. We're not just doing systems enhancements we've been reimagining and redesigning our service delivery model and putting customers and their wh?nau at the heart of everything we do. Through this modernisation and future proofing of technology and improving how information is shared, services will be delivered in a more joined up way providing digital self-service options to customers and other agencies. This work includes:
   » Our new customer centred management system is the basis for us to deliver easy to access, integrated, consistent services across multiple government agencies. We're now expanding service and product offerings such as helping families apply for their first passports with a single application.
   » Our customers can already order birth, death and marriage certificates and apply for some services online. It's time for an upgrade so we're modernising and future proofing our technology and improving how information is shared and kept secured.
About the function
We have a great opportunity for an practiced Contract and Supplier Manager to lead our contract management portfolio in Te Ara Manaaki.
   » You'll refine our ways of working and enhance contract and supplier processes and systems to drive business efficiencies, reduce risk and secure public value for strong commercial results that will enable Te Ara Manaaki to reach its goals
   » You'll have plenty of energy and enthusiasm, and great expertise to take ownership of this challenging position
What you'll bring to our team
   » Excellent relationship building and confidence communicating at all levels
   » practice and sound working knowledge in contract and supplier management
   » practice in knowledge risk management in a procurement and contract management context
   » A working knowledge of New Zealand Government procurement standards and obligations, supported by an knowledge of commercial law, finance, and accounting
