Reporting to the CEO, this function is responsible for providing effective financial management services to the CEO, SMT, Project Managers and the Board. Day to day, this function is responsible for: » Monitoring the day-to-day financial operations within the organisation » Approving and processing fortnightly payroll » Producing monthly financial reports for the Board, Senior Management and Project Managers (Partners, Coordinators) » Assists Project Managers with the preparation of project budgets » Preparing, monitoring, and managing organisational budgets and forecasts » Assisting with annual financial audits and service audit. » Processes accounts receivables and incoming payments in compliance with financial policies and procedure. » Assisting in creating policies, processes, and documents » Attending weekly staff governance meetings » Contributing to the wider organisation by embodying our values Te k?whiringa - The opportunity Kei te hiahia M?tou ki ?u p?kenga! Mahi tahi - Being a wh?nau player is crucial; we work as one team, with the community, for the people. Arotahi ki te kaupapa – Strong financial management expertise with 3 years practice, annual and project budgets and cash flow forecasts, concise and ad hoc reporting to stakeholders. Whanaungatanga - Relationship management and interpersonal expertise and practice. Whai ariari – Superior communication, problem-solving, and analytical capabilities coupled with sound judgement and a high level of initiative with financial planning - practice in Non-For-Profit Finance is preferred.
