Chief Executive agent:Chief Executive Officer Fertility New ZealandJob description:Job DescriptionFertility New Zealand – Chief Executive agent One in four New Zealanders will practice difficulties in having, or completing, a much-wanted family and this can be incredibly challenging to deal with.Fertility New Zealand (FNZ) walks alongside all people facing fertility challenges. Our departing Chief Executive agent (CEO) was in the function for nine years and made a significant contribution to FNZ. We are now seeking another innovative and committed individual to take on the leadership abilities of FNZ. The CEO is responsible for the day to day running of FNZ and helping to shape the strategic direction of FNZ in partnership with the FNZ Board. FNZ is at a critical point in its history and organisational development, and leadership abilities is required across all of the organisation's activities. FNZ is a small organisation with great opportunity for growth. There is plenty to be done, which is why We are pursuing a committed individual with a genuine desire to make a difference for those facing fertility challenges. The prosperous applicant will have excellent relationship management expertise, strong networks all over New Zealand, understand the not-for-profit sector, and have fundraising practice. Most importantly the prosperous candidate will have the capability, and desire, to work both strategically and operationally on a day-to-day basis. This is a home-located position which requires out of hours work but also offers significant flexibility. The function could be located in Auckland, Wellington, or Christchurch. FNZ is a registered charity dedicated to providing information, support and advocacy to people experiencing fertility issues. Fertility New Zealand was established in 1990 and provides a number of support groups all over New Zealand which operate at different levels, depending on the size and culture of the community.
