We're growing an epic team all over Aotearoa and we need someone to step into our second largest worm place/work place. Why Waste is now a nationwide network of professionally serviced worm farms. By offering worm farms on subscription, you will be contributing to a shift towards less waste, healthy soil and more resilient communities. This encourages values such as product stewardship, quality over quantity, and biomimicry to generate contextually considerate solutions to replace profit driven problems. This kind of future needs good people to build Information technology first. You'll be breeding worms, backing trailers, out and about setting up and servicing our members worm farms, presenting to sometimes large groups, and knee deep in real funky shit the rest of the time.We reckon Information technology feels soooo great to be on nature's team again. We are a non-hierarchical business that make decisions collectively. Interviews will be via zoom with our existing membership managers. Our membership managers are subcontractors, paid per unit of work. Each piece of the worm network puzzle has a different value and you will invoice for the work you do, paid every two weeks. Any time spent in meetings or doing extra work is $25 p/hr You'll need: a vehicle with a tow bar, a cell phone and some space at your whare for assembling worms. Physical strength is ideal, getting a fully functioning worm farm off a trailer and onto an old ladies patio can be a challenge sometimes. This contractor function is for about one week a month (or one day a week). We don't want to see your CV, we want to see what makes your eyes light up.
