Purpose • Within the Procurement Department of this fast paced company, you will play a key function to ensure this South Auckland branch has the right quantity of the right products in stock, at the right price, to enable great customer service and to maintain their competitiveness Key tasks Procurement • Provide accurate and up to date information to Sales & Operations teams • Analyse and understand market trends • Actively seek cost savings in regular stock lines • Plan and execute strategic procurement decisions, in consultation with the Purchasing Manager • Seek alternative suppliers for product lines where cost savings or a new range is required to meet customer demand • Ensure suppliers adhere to standards set in company Food Control Plan • Build strong relationships with suppliers and gain a competitive advantage through negotiation and or delivering benefit to suppliers Inventory administration • Using available software tools to ensure accurate inventory and pricing files within companies ER (Realtime) • Monitor and review everyday inwards goods, ensuring accuracy of receipting and stock records • Conduct regular reviews of the stock range identifying duplicate and slow moving stock lines • Ensure all pricing and system fields are updated in Real-time • Ensure orders are placed with supplier requirements (minimum orders, lead times, cut off times etc) Other • Quarterly stocktake assistance, team participation, Health & Safety You • Procurement/purchasing practice within a team environment • Keen to step up • Great systems practice & Excel reporting expertise (Tables/Formulas) • great customer relationship building expertise On Offer • $65,000 (negotiable ie $62 – late $60’s if stepping up form entry level, or more practiced) • Incredible Food product discounts your whole family will love • 40 hours/week • Flexible start time eg 6am to 8am! • Free convenient onsite parking • Modern new premises, light and airy • Southern Cross Health Insurance Discount • Social Club (fortnightly barbq’s – GM’s take turns cooking!) • Job security as ‘essential services’ • Very real career growth opportunities in the company, internally and Auckland wide • Training and induction • Amazing culture and new leadership abilities team • And, a lovely procurement team/Manager Interested?
