The PSA, Te P?kenga Here Tikanga Mahi, has a vacancy for a national sector leader within our organisation. This is a fulltime function located in our Wellington office. We are seeking for a person with union leadership abilities expertise, and comprehensive practice as a union organiser or equivalent is critical. The core purpose of the National Sector Leader function is: To provide leadership abilities, guidance and direction on all aspects of organising, including bargaining and prioritisation. This includes providing mentoring, collegial and professional support to organising teams and organisers. To provide industrial leadership abilities, to assist sector-located organising teams to work with delegate and bargaining teams to achieve organising objectives and to work with sector committees to develop organising strategies consistent with the union's strategic plan.
